“My Story about China” Video Contest
Entry Qualification
All foreign students residing in and outside of China.
Ethnic Chinese students born outside of China and must not have China citizenship.
Submission Date
April 30, 2016 (24:00 China Local time)
You need to sign up before April 20, and submit before April 30.
3.Guidelines
First
Scan the QR code attached to fill in the application form.
Second
Make a video of 5-10 minutes.
Third
Send your work to gcsp1@pku.edu.cn.
You are required to briefly introduce your video in the email and name your email as “My Story about China+Your name”.
※ English or Chinese submissions are preferred.
You can also speak in your native language.
All videos should include either Chinese or English subtitles.
※If you have any problems in shooting and could not shoot the video by yourself, please submit your story’s script first.
If your story is interesting enough we will contact you later and help you in shooting.
※Your work will be uploaded on the Tengxun Vadio and the Official Accounts of Soft Power.
4. Grading Policy
First we will select 30 works in total. Priority will be given to those stories that best reflect authenticity and uniqueness.
The final contest will be graded on four criteria:

6. Result Notification
Date: May 10, 2016 (Tuesday)
The result will be announced on the School of International Studies of Peking University website (http:/cn/do), the Official Accounts of Soft Power and informed individually to the awards recipients.
※ This may be delayed if the screening process takes longer than expected.
7. Legal Notices
Prizes will be forfeited if a video clip is plagiarized or has already received an award from another contest.
Center for Soft Power Studies of Peking University will have the right to post, print, publish or otherwise use the contest submissions.
Any legal issues concerning portrait rights or copyright violations arising from a video submission are solely the legal responsibility of the contestant.
