According to PKU regulation, student ID is a proof of student status. For loss of student ID, student needs to follow the procedures below to obtain a new one.
1.Submit an application with indicating the cause of loss, and a hard copy of portrait photo taken in the past 6 months with size of 25mm*35mm to your program officer first and then to the officer in charge of graduate students affairs at SIS.
2. When the application is approved, the student will be notified to pick up a new student ID and a payment notice. Fee of 40 yuan will be charged for first application, then 70 yuan will be charged for further application. Student makes payment at the PKU Financial Department or at Rm 129 of the PKU New Sun Center (office hours only on the morning of Tuesday and Thursday)
3. With payment made, student brings payment receipt and the new student ID to Rm 105 of the PKU New Sun Center to collect an introduction letter. Then student goes to the PKU President Hall with the introduction letter to get a PKU stamp on the new student ID.
