David F. Gordon is Senior Advisor at Eurasia Group, the international political risk advisory firm, where he was formerly Chairman. Dr. Gordon was Director of Policy Planning at the US Department of State under Condoleeza Rice; and, prior to that, head of the US National Intelligence Council. He teaches at Georgetown University and is a Senior Fellow at the Center for a New American Security.

Evan S. Medeiros leads Eurasia Group's coverage of the Asia-Pacific. In June 2015, Evan stepped down from the position of special assistant to the president and senior director for Asian affairs at the White House's National Security Council (NSC). Evan previously worked as a senior political scientist at the RAND Corporation, where he specialized in the international politics of East Asia, China's foreign and national security policies, US-China relations, and Chinese defense and security issues. He also served as policy advisor to the special envoy for China and the US-China Strategic Economic Dialogue at the Treasury Department. Evan holds a doctorate in international relations from the London School of Economics and Political Science, in addition to a master of philosophy degree in international relations from the University of Cambridge (where he was a Fulbright Scholar), a master's degree in China studies from the University of London's School of Oriental and African Studies, and a bachelor's degree in analytic philosophy from Bates College in Maine.
